TaomRank Terms of Use
Last updated: November 5, 2026
1. Camera permission
The camera is used to display your live image and position a dish card above your head. Camera processing occurs in the browser. TaomRank does not record audio and does not use facial recognition to identify you.
2. Image storage
If you explicitly choose “Save,” the visible result image and ranking are uploaded and stored on the TaomRank server. No separate, interface-free face image is captured. Saved images are associated with a random recovery code.
3. Access and deletion
You can view and delete your saved images through “My saved photos.” Keep your recovery code private and in a safe place: it can restore access after browser data is cleared or on another device. Anyone with the code may access and delete the associated images. If both the browser data and recovery code are lost, access cannot be restored automatically. The service administrator may view or delete stored images for moderation, security, storage management, or at the user’s request.
4. Your responsibilities
Use the camera only with the knowledge and permission of every identifiable person in the frame. Do not upload unlawful, abusive, intimate, copyrighted, or confidential material. Users under 13 may not use the service. Users under the age required by local law should use it with a parent or guardian’s permission.
5. Security and availability
Reasonable safeguards are used, but no online storage system can be guaranteed completely secure or continuously available. Do not use TaomRank for sensitive or important images. The service may remove images or discontinue storage without notice.
6. Privacy
TaomRank stores the submitted result image, ranking, creation time, and a one-way hash of the recovery code. It does not require a name, phone number, or account. Server providers may process ordinary technical logs such as IP address and browser information.
7. Changes
These terms may be updated when the service changes. Continuing to use the service after an update means accepting the revised terms.
